We’ve implemented a new, advanced module in NetStork application for modeling and visualization of the HFC (Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial) network – still widely used by many cable TV operators. The HFC data model includes following HFC devices:
- Amplifier
- Coaxial connector
- Coaxial Splitter
- Tap
- Coaxial filter
- Power supply
- Power switch
- CATV subscriber outlet
- HFC port
- Coaxial cable
Additionally, we added three new schemes for HFC technology support to visualize and visual data editing:
- Scheme of HFC equipment (cabinet, manhole, box)
- Building Scheme (HFC building division)
- Concentric network diagram (an aggregated diagram including locations, buildings, and cables)
