NetStork now allows you to work with Reflectometry data.
New tool allows:
- Open file with reflectometry data (format .sor)
- Showing OTDR data simultaneously ona map and on graph
- Identify network locations that match a particular point in the graph
Location on the cable can be identified in two ways:
- By entering exact distance from the point of measurement
- Marking location in the reflectometry chart
Distance between the starting point and the damaged spot measured by the optical reflectometer can be accurately displayed on the map. This will allow you to quickly identify where the cable is damaged. The cost of finding and correcting a defect will be substantially reduced. The section between the start of the measurement and the desired location (damage) will turn to green.
